Singer Ray J hospitalized in Las Vegas

Singer/record producer Ray J, who is singer Brandy's brother, was hospitalized in Las Vegas on Monday.

Gossip Cop reports that his rep says "exhaustion" is to blame. The Sexy Can I singer, who made a sex tape with Kim Kardashian and who was dating Whitney Houston in the months before her death, had just returned from a 32-hour trip to China when he attended the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday.

The hospitalization comes on the heels of reports that Ray J, 31, had a run-in with Houston's family at the awards show. TMZ reported Monday that Ray J "was almost physically removed" after Pat Houston was upset that she, Bobbi Kristina Brown and other family members were seated next to Ray J.

Ray J's rep tells Gossip Cop the singer has been working very hard of late, noting, "He did a concert in China and has a business deal he's working on over there."
