TV tonight: 'Touch,' 'Rookie Blue'
Posted May 30, 2012
•The 2011 TV season may have ended last week, but all of its series haven't.
A few stragglers linger, like Kiefer Sutherland's Touch (Fox, tonight, 8 ET/PT), which concludes its first season with a two-part outing that adds Maria Bello to the show's mix as a mother with a child who shares little Jake's gift.
(Whatever that is; the show has not done a particularly good job of defining it.)
While fans will no doubt want to tune in anyway, there is an extra incentive to check out the episode.
Despite its ratings struggles the show has been renewed, so odds are good tonight's finale will offer a clue as to the most likely altered direction Touch will take next season.
•Touch isn't the only new scripted offering from the broadcast networks tonight.
There's also ABC's Rookie Blue (10 ET/PT), which puts Andy (Missy Peregrym) and Swarek (Ben Bass) on the trail of a stolen armed police car.
You just know the police hate when that happens.
•There are lots of crime shows and crime movies.
There's only one Bonnie and Clyde (TCM, 10 ET/7 PT).
It's one of those movies that anyone with any interest in American culture needs to see.
