Zooey Deschanel meets Bart Simpson on The Simpsons' New York City road trip.
Fox's enduring animated hit begins its 24th season Sept. 30, when the Springfield clan travels to the Big Apple in search of Bart's lost love, played by the star of the network's comedy New Girl.
Also on tap: Steve Carell (The Office) plays Homer's bowling buddy with a mob connection; and voices of Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein (Portlandia), comedian Patton Oswalt, NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon, and composer Marvin Hamlisch.
And over at Family Guy, look for Johnny Depp (reprising his Edward Scissorhands character in a cameo), Jon Hamm, Ryan Reynolds, Kellan Lutz and Elizabeth Banks.
